Not sure if ya'll care but she's got all matching numbers...

From what I understand talking to a local M-N enthusiast, matching numbers doesn't mean a whole lot with respect to the arsenal rebuilt guns like we now enjoy here in the States. Apparently the miscellaneous parts were stamped to match the number on the barrel. Not that it matters. I doubt there will ever be a collector's market for ones with import stamps. These guns are meant to shoot.

Hi;

     I have 7 Mosins so far. 3 sighted in and 4 to be sighted in ( no time to get to the range ). In another forum is a section on up to 10 Mosins is Mosinitis, after 10 it becomes an obsession. I am slowly working on the obsession part ! Cheap in price, easy to strip down and clean up, cheap to shoot, can be used for hunting, "plinking" and home defence. Worth every penny !

I could have bought an AR.

Or an FNAR since we don't want to compare vodka with whiskey.

A monthly group buy with a local gun/ammo shop has "power buys" RSVP'd once a month. They did a Moisin buy some months back, and want to do another.

I have a 1943 round receiver 91/30, and wouldn't mind a hex for the money. Just to have one of each,.... 8)
