Irene's Aftermath!
« on: August 28, 2011, 04:00:30 PM »
Some major limbs nearly took out my new Weber grill, it was a close one but we survived...

 ;D ;D ;D ;D

Not much more than a strong thunderstorm here, without any thunder or storm.  Just a windy day as she died when it crossed the sound.

Great nations rise and fall. The people go from bondage to spiritual truth, to great courage, from courage to liberty, from liberty to abundance, from abundance to selfishness, from selfishness to complacency, from complacency to apathy, from apathy to dependence, from dependence back again to bondage. Where are we now??????

Here we are on the backside of the storm, the most severe part.
No wind, no rain.
We didn't even get enough to flood "Busy Corner", and that floods in a heavy dew.
Irene was "much ado about nothing".

It gave Oblama the chance to show he can handle a weather emergency better than Bush.  You watch this week, the coverage isn't going to focus on how little the storm resembled the coverage, but on how Oblama was cool under pressure and directed the relief efforts like a real leader.
