I am a Democrat and a gun owner(in fact many)/shooter/reloader and etc...have been for years!  That being said, I vote for whom I feel is the best candidate.  Yes there are some pro-gun Dem candidates and dems.

I'm not sensitive by any stretch of the imagination!  I don't need to rethink "being retarded"!   I am not retarded because I have a D after my name at the BOE.  Maybe I'm a closet R who is too lazy to go the the BOE and change!  There are some...not a lot, of good Dem politicians.  I've lived thru a lot of crap perpitrated (sp) by both D and R.  I am not proud of what the Dems have done and continue to do.  Remember there are a lot of R politicians who have screwed us in many ways also.  My life has been pure HELL in the work place because I am a Dem. so the Republicans are not all that lilly white in my eyes either.  By the way, I didn't vote for BO and wasn't of age to vote for some of the others you mentioned.

DRTV Rangers are a group of members who over the years have done things, either as individuals, or as a group, to benefit the forum and/or help other members in some notable way.

Back to the topic, it is a historical, and documented fact that if you vote R you may get an asshole, or a RINO like McCain.
If you vote D, no matter what the candidate says, you are voting to support gun control, bigger govt,weakened defense, higher taxes, race baiting, socialism and union thuggery.
The only difference between the Democrats and the Communists is the Dems don't charge dues.
