the real God Jesus doesn't / didn't get directly involved in something as unimportant as earthly politics - it's the fake gods like islam and lds and socialism that do that

Jesus was a social revolutionary who's words and actions challenged the leading authorities of his people.
That was why Pilate felt it so important that the Jews execute him rather than Rome doing it. He did not want to have to deal with a rebellion.
