The manual says Colt Blue, but you are correct, stainless slide, over aluminum frame. I think he paid around $450 back in '93.

Seems they have appreciated in value, but that matters not, as it is, and will remain in the family...Funny thing was, my son actually thought my Walther, (which he loves) was going away.....(got to remind the youth about real family traditions and future heirlooms sometimes).... :P

 ???  That's what I meant when I asked if it was an alloy frame. I think that's what makes it a "Pocketlite".

Pocketlite does mean aluminum frame and brings the weight down to 12.5os, which while heavier than the LCP and 3AT, puts it in contention for a possible Pajama Pocket gun.

Yeah, I actually sent him an email a few years back about that.  He laughed saying I wasn't the first to 'bust his chops'.  Said in doing searches magazine usually comes up for print magazines so he used clip.

He is a good guy and does have a good supply and will get back to you if you back order or ask about something.

Great story and pistol. The last one I saw at a gun show the dealer wanted $800 for it. Looking forward to a range report.

Nice, quality .380. Much better than the lower cost Polymer .380's that are flooding the current market.  Bill T.
