Yeah, he did some work on it for me.  When I first asked him for 1200fps 45 colt loads he said "Are you crazy"?  Then I said 'Redhawk' and he calmed down! ;D

I have found that locally the prices for ammo, mags, guns are WAY higher than some time surfing to reputable internet sites.

Since the April 1 increase on ammo has opened the door for even more expensive rounds, me and a friend bought 1000rds. of new PMC ammo in .223 for $360.00. Shipping was $32.00 UPS Ground. AbleAmmo.com

Magpul 30 rd. magazines, $26.99 here in town, $13.00 on botachtactical.com (bought 2).

Walther PPK/S stainless mag; $32.99 local; $22.00 on Impactguns.com

I guess I'm just a penny pincher, my wife says golf is cheaper than my shooting habit/lifestyle. OMG!

Just thought I'd throw my 2 cents into the forum.

Good Luck and Shop Around.

C'mon guys!  That's only 19 grains of H110 pushing a 250 grain Montana Gold CMJ.

I'm thinking of pushing it a bit more to 24 grains, that should give me around 1400 fps and there is still room for more according to the Lee Modern Reloading (up to 26.5 for 250 grain bullets).

;D

Be VERY careful ordering anything from BoTach.  They are very hit or miss.  Buddy ordered some gear from them and they never sent it.  When he called they said it was back ordered and he should see it soon.  Never saw it and finally asked for his money back and they only sent back part.  Other orders both of us have ordered they sent what they had and dropped the back order stuff without saying anything.  Luckily that time they didn't charge us.  Googled them and there was a list if BBB complaints about the same type of stuff.  Prices are usually good though.  Agreat place for gear (5.11, Blackhawk, holsters and such) is LA Police Gear (www.lapolicegear.com).  Streichers (www.streichers.com) has the MagPul PMAGs for $15 and is a great place to order stuff from too.
When seconds mean the difference between life and death, the police will be minutes away.

You are either SOLVING the problem, or you ARE the problem.
