Ok, satellites have picked up all sorts of weird stuff in the Chinese dessert. Are these models? Test sites? Alien codes? Look for yourself. It actually is kind of cool that you can get this stuff on civilian channels. What would have been ultra top secret 20 years ago is now a subject of chat rooms. Check it out.

No telling what the Kings of the East are up to. Maybe preparation for coordinated nuclear strikes against some foreign superpower that owes them a few trillion dollars?

Technologically China is still a third world country, and will remain that way until they decide to full abandon communism, and allow their people to actually keep what they earn. (Don't laugh, we are headed that way) The biggest fear in regards to a war with China is that they can just keep throwing soldiers at us until we run out.

Weapons test facility, and it's been there since at least 2005.

Look at the "airport" in Google Earth.  The square apron at the north end is pock marked a la, cluster munition.  The structures near by are nearly all destroyed in the 2010 imagery and only slightly damaged in the 2005 imagery.

Why the geo shapes are the way they are, and about 60' across I have no idea.

I definately would NOT rate them very low technologically.
Exhibit A:

Sure the Russians built the hull and sold it to them but the electronics outfitted are indigenious, very capable copies of our AEGIS SPY.

In addition they are producing more and more advanced air supperiority and low-observables while we sit and complain about the cost of JSF.  The Chinese have also started down the road of high-endurance, high-altitude surviellance platfoms similar to Global Hawk.  Add to that thier collection of IRBM/TBMs designed specifically to target our large deck ships makes them very capable.

Chinese ain't stupid. Conventional warfare is not their "cup of tea"... They have time and money on their side as we sink ourselves.

BUT, we have a launch capability, right up until we get hacked by Won Hung Lo, a 19 year old Beijing hacker that scrambles our launch codes.


Not their real motive,....it is more like the commercial, and much more realistic at this rate, with this POTUS.
