In probably one of the more bizarrely Freudian displacement episodes of all time, white folks associated this with Indians. WTF? We made how many treaties and them broke them at our convenience? Invited chiefs to "peace talks" and shot them under a flag of truce? And then we blame them for being so dishonest that we name the act after them. That's not PC, that's just the damn truth. And frankly I do think that the term isn't just racist, its slander and embarrassing to us.
