The thought that comes to my mind is , Is the country worth saving ?
Or should the few who still have a clue just take over Porta Rico and let the dumbasses get what they deserve ?
I just keep fighting the war, I know who and what I am fighting for and it's worth it to me.

Another dumbazz of the day....

Man holding breath in Oregon tunnel causes crash

MANNING, Ore. –  A 19-year-old man caused a three-car crash when he fainted while holding his breath as he drove through a tunnel northwest of Portland, Oregon State Police said.

Daniel J. Calhon, of Snohomish, Washington, told investigators he fainted Sunday afternoon while holding his breath in the Highway 26 tunnel near the community of Manning, according to a news release. His car, a 1990 Toyota Camry, drifted across the centerline and crashed head-on with a Ford Explorer.
Both vehicles struck the tunnel walls before a pickup hit the Camry.

You can say lots of bad things about pedophiles; but at least they drive slowly past schools.

Who faints while holding their breath for 10 seconds? Besides this idiot that is. And why?
""It may be laid down as a primary position, and the basis of our system, that every Citizen who enjoys the protection of a free Government, owes not only a proportion of his property, but even his personal services to the defence of it, and consequently that the Citizens of America (with a few legal and official exceptions) from 18 to 50 Years of Age should be borne on the Militia Rolls, provided with uniform Arms, and so far accustomed to the use of them, that the Total strength of the Country might be called forth at a Short Notice on any very interesting Emergency." - George Washington. My guess is he's around 450 on the hoof, 85% blockage in at least 3 arteries, and smokes 2 packs a day. A lot for a growing boy to handle.

Why?  Everybody knows bad things can happen to you if you breathe the pollution laden air inside a automotive tunnel....

It also might be noted that with mental facilities functioning like that, he was near unconscious to start with.

This one is a little different in that it does not involve an individual but a government agency instead.

I know, I know.  Doing stupid things is SOP for most government agencies...but this one just seemed double stupid to me.

One government agency has decided that the results of employee ratings are too discriminatory, and eliminated the process entirely. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau announced on Monday that it will now award all employees the highest rating regardless of performance reviews.

After posting this I got to thinking that I could not imagine ANY agency being dumb enough to publish a statement like this and am starting to see if I can fact check it.

Found a more elaborate story at American Banker...which I will deem an unbiased source.  A bit more explanation for the statement, but very little more justification.

Flyer Tells Parents That Urge To Win And Athletic Ability Should Be Kept To Minimum. On Field Day.

The site Progressives Today has the story.

"The purpose of the day is for our school to get together for an enjoyable two hours of activities and provide an opportunity for students, teachers and parents to interact cooperatively. Since we believe that all of our children are winners, the need for athletic ability and the competitive “urge to win” will be kept to a minimum. The real reward will be the enjoyment and good feelings of participation."

Progressives Today ?
Should be called "Breeding for mediocrity".

The government doesn't want employee efficiency or quality rated, any more than teachers unions do.
