Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them

Romney or Gingrich, hoping Newt will win but the dumbass Paul supporters and their 7th times the charm stupidity will probably skew it to 4 more years of the Kaffir in Chief.

The solution to that problem is to actually have a good candidate--which the Republicans don't.

Neither do the Dems!  And any of our one of our candidates is MUCH better than the current Occupier in Chief!

Shoot, I'd take the back-up cameraman at the next debate over Obama!

The fact of the matter is that just slowing or stopping in place the slide toward a socialist dictatorship is not enough.
It has to be reversed and no elected official will be able to do thatThe cowards in this country should have started killing politicians before they had the nerve to say "You can't have that gun, it looks scary".
Anything after that they deserve.

As would I, Magoo.  However, I'm not sure there's a big difference between Romney and Obama.  The only two that come to mind are 1) Obama has a darker tan and 2) Obama actually believes in something (not that it's anything I agree with).

Romney has no ties to any of the Alinskiites like BHO, didn't attend the wrong Reverend Wright's church for twenty years, doesn't hate this country, didn't attend madrasas during his formative youth, and I could go on and on.  Nuff Mitt is the last guy on our side I would vote for but he is miles ahead of BHO.

Romney is a big govt. anti gun liar.
He's the last possible pick.

I agree but I think there would be less turnout for Mitt than any of the other Republican Nominees but a long shot!

The same is true in reverse. In '08 I and a whole lot of moderates, and or, non GOP koolaid drinkers turned out to vote No and Hell No! We were sick of W., Cheney and the Neo-Cons. We would have (probably did) vote for Donald Duck. Then there was the liberal base, the anti-war real socialists. They thought BO was the Messiah. Guess what? We were both disappointed. As much as you lot try to make BO into the anti-Christ, he isn't. He's just like W. and Carter, a guy who got in over his head and fubared it. The true believers think he sold them out because he wasn't pure enough (sound familiar? ::)). The one's who voted "No" realized we bought a defective product.  The true believers are feeling betrayed and are in a snit (again, sound familiar?). The rest of us are just back to choosing between bad and worse. None of us are that motivated. You won't see the massive turnout for BO you did last time, nor will you see the massive influx of small contributions from folks who never opened their wallets before.
Frankly, I see it as a tie between BO and any reasonable GOP candidate, and Romney qualifies. Its going to come down to a game of who makes the last last mistake with a slight edge to the challenger, because no one  is exicited about anyone who is running, and everyone is pissed off about the current state of affairs. Just my .02.
