And how about Newt's deal with these fine folks? If you think this a partisan problem you're a tool. Newt should not be let off the hook on this one. He has some 'splainin to do.

A tool, huh?

You're right this is just as bipartisan as Gun Control  ::)  Where are all the republican programs that demanded banks loan money to people the banks knew couldn't repay the loans under threat of DOJ investigations?  Or the Fannie Mae or Freddy Mac CEOs that were former republican congressman/senators/party member and lined their pockets with cash?  Newt was a consultant, they paid him for his knowledge over the course of 8 years, thats two years longer that Fanklin Reins worked there before quitting and working for Clinton-NO conflict there?!

If I'm a tool, you're automated poo dispenser.

Not automated, He's just so full it oozes out.
Kind of like a hooker with a runny nose.    ;D

But to belabor the point , what gay Rep Senator was shacked up with the gay head of Freddy Mac when he was supposed to be in charge of overseeing it ?
And if you want to get into the debt debate, where are the self defeating Rep. welfare programs ?
It wasn't the R's that stole the money out of Social Security causing an otherwise sound program to go broke.
Come to think of it it was a D administration that lost money on the "Mustang Ranch" as well.

I wasn't calling you a tool Magoo. That was a generalized use of the term. I get tired of folks on both sides pointing the finger at the other side when it comes to corruption, as though just changing parties was the issue. This is systemic not a partisan problem. If you were an elected official you shouldn't bde allowed to be a lobbyist, er consultant, to folks with issues before Congress. Sorry if it came across as a shot at you, it wasn't intended that way.

I know I just used it as fuel to drive me to think, I'm tired.  Stinking teenage daughters!

I know there are entrenched power brokers on both sides (we need to get them all out, but that's another topic) that participate but the issue at hand was perpetuated if not entirely, nearly so by the left.
