I carry a Sig P220 and if I need something a little more concealable I carry my Sig P245.  If I know I'm going to have to leave it in the truck I'll carry my XD 45 compact.

Full size Springfield Armory 1911-A1, .45 ACP, old school custom job in a Comp-Tac tuckable IWB.
Wilson or Novak Mags in a Wild Bill's double or single mag carrier loaded with Fed 230gr. Tactical HST JHP's.
Surefire L-4 or LED upgraded D-2 flashlight, and a pair of Benchmade's. 710 and 707.

...and an 870 in the trunk or behind the seat ...just in case;).

SErious question (big shock, I know ;) )

What is the difference between a auto pocket pistol and a sub compact DAO?  If your talking PPK, PF 11 and such as sub compact, I would put those with auto pocket pistol.

Sub compact refers to the polymers that are really too big for holsterless pocket carry - i.e. Glock, S&W M&P, etc..... auto loading pocket pistol refer to the pistols that can truly be carried in a pocket - i.e. Kel Tec, PPK, Ruger LCP, etc.

Full size, yes, DAO, no.  I have a Taurus 92.  So that is what I carry.  I would love a millenium or 24/7.  But until my piggie bank getts fatter the 92 will have to do.

Oh I almost forgot, I am a 9mm fan.

Thanks for clearing that up.

GLOCK ...............GLOCK....................GLOCK.....................GLOCK.....................GLOCK...........

I carry a Glock 23 (.40 s&w) and/or and Glock 27 (.40 s&w) 99% of the time. Very rarely will I mix it up and carry another type of small pocket pistol/ revolver. If it's warm/hot ..in summer it's mostly the smaller model 27. In the winter and cold it's always the model 23!  ::). Although, lately the little 27 is becoming my primary carry weapon. It prints in a pocket too much. But, if you get the right iwb holster/ or a good ankle holster/ ..you can't see it and it's not too uncomforable. *Holster select is key.*  A flat holster helps tons. If you can do that.. you can have a small Glock ..j-frame size gun..with 9,10, or 11 rounds of .40 s&w in the mag..all in a gun that can accurately shot 25 yds. What's not to like?
