Well, about Ron Paul's bills...

Having no knowledge of any of them, I still can make this observation...

I don't particularly like very many of the bills Congress has passed for many years now.

And if Congress doesn't like RP's bills, well, maybe it's because they aren't full of the same crap that has been passing.

See for yourself!  You can sort on the Rep or Senator for this last Congress!

Seems to me that EVERYBODY on both sides of the aisle are AFRAID of Newt.. To me, that speaks well of him, even if nothing else did.

Did anybody else catch the little blurb by Donna Brazil saying that the WH has always wanted Romney for the GOP? I've known this for almost a year now.. I should get paid to tell Gore to be an Alpha Male!! The advice helped Gore as much as it would have helped Lamar Alexander, I suppose..
Romney cannot lead without authority behind him, and as a "moderate Republican" and not caring much about the 2A, he WILL give away our 2A and 4A rights to Schumer and Reid as an olive branch of good failth and to work across the aisle..
With friends like these, who needs hallucinations!..

True. Its the same reason BO hasn't really infringed the 2A. He just doen't care, and won't fight for gun control if it gives him what he wants from GOP votes. Romey will do the same in reverse. I have no doubt he'd sign an AWB if it would give him Dem votes on a tax or trade bill. Hell, W. was willing to extend the AWB until he got taken to the wood shed. I trust neither of these guys. I just think that Romney is more willing to blink as BO needs blue dog and moderate GOP support, whereas Romney will need Pelosi. I'll still vote for him, but I'm not going to be happy about it.
