Sorry folks, there won't be any State of the Union commentary here tonight.

I did chest and triceps freeweights day today, and I'm a bit nauseous from the workout. I'm afraid seeing all those lying criminals in the same room might put me over the edge, and induce projectile vomiting.

Nor will I watch the Dead Elephant response, which will go something like this:

    "Obama is wrong 'cuz he's a Democrat.  Vote for us and we'll continue driving this country down the road to statism, only it will be better 'cuz we're Dead Elephants.  We're better, even though we have done nothing whatsoever to demonstrate that we are any different.  But vote for us 'cuz we're conservative and want to ride the surge of public anger to power to continue to enslave you.

Yeah, I'm going to watch something worthwhile.  My daughter is watching old school Care Bears.  I'll join her.

I am going to be looking for recaps, because I missed it.  I was going to watch it, so I could be informed and participate like a citizen should.  However, I have a major project at work that hit me today out of the blue, and one of the calls came in just before it started.  In this day and age of YouTube I should be able to find it.

How many portions of his speech were recycled from previous speeches?  I read an article in the New York Times this morning, and his spiel on the auto industry and how he saved it is word for word from a speech earlier this month.  My question remains the same on this:  Are you coming to Minnesota to explain to the people of the Twin Cities why the Ford plant went dark after you saved the auto industry?

From what I have read and seen in replays so far there was a very heavy dose of Pres. BHO's version of peace and unity.  Last I evaluated it his version is called class envy and warfare

Not only has the man failed in all of his campaign promises, he's not come up with anything new since he took office.  His economic recovery was put on the back burner while he "made history" and gave Pelosi some chick wood with Obamacare!  He should have been focused then on what he's rehashing today!
