I'm really surprised Madonna did that. It was really disappointing. You're right how it seems to be the norm today. For what the NFL paid her for that lousy 12 minute "performance", you think she would have done it live. I think a lot of people who thought she was one of the "old timers" who survived through the years like me, lost a lot of respect for her. She tried to make up for lack of a singing performance with a lot of fancy, expensive costumes, wardrobe changes, aerobics she had to be helped through, and electronic crap.
Today these clowns can't even memorize the words to the National Anthem. How many have screwed that up recently? And what the hell was up with all of her low life back up performers? You would think most talented back up singers and dancers would stand in line to perform with her. And the best she could get were a bunch of arrogant clowns who give the camera the finger? Last year they had that totally overpaid "Black Eyed Peas" bunch that stunk up the whole joint. This year I'm afraid wasn't much better. The NFL needs to scout halftime talent like they do players. Perhaps then they'll get what they paid for, and not all of these overrated, over the hill buffoons whos time has come......and gone.
