Divemaster,

1st  Welcome

2nd  Thanks for your service.  Good to hear all safe.

3rd  If you ever run into the Baikal double rifes that were supposed to be imported by EAA and then by Remington I'd like to get one in 30-06!  ;)  Never understood why some mfg hasn't put out a reasonably priced line of these.  Think of a double in 45-70 or 44-40 or 30-06 or 308 or .270 or ....  ;D

Hazcat,

Thank you for the welcome.  I'm not familiar with that double rifle.  I'm sort of a beginner in doubles and lean more towards the antique rifles like something with Damascus barrels in .500 BPE.  I suspect the process of regulating the barrels is one of the things that prevent most makers from bringing them to market at a reasonable price.  Now Cabela's does have the Kodiak, an Italian made percussion double express rifle available in up to .72 cal for less than $1000.

.....................
Welcome BlackRifle,
And that reminds me:   I stopped by the local "toy store" and fondled one them Marlin 1895 Cowboy 45 - 70 Govt's yesterday.    What a beautiful and sweet handling rifle.   Even with the 26" barrel it's lightweight and points real quick.

Now to keep leaving reminders for the little Red Head, since my birthday's in a couple weeks  ;D

Not really into black powder.

Here is a link to the gun that no one has imported yet.

Hi.
My wife's favorite is a S&W 686 4" 7 round. I prefer autoloaders and have a Sig Revolution 1911.
Can't carry though, we're in the nation of New Jersey.
I got the blues as my companion.

Hello,

I'm glad to become a member of this forum. I have watched the videos with great interest. I enjoy .22 and .45 bulls eye shooting but after looking at this site I think I would like to partake in some of the other disciplines.

We think we have the best club website in the world.

Michael, you really have some interesting shows on Wednesday nights. I need to check out your novels.
This website is killer too!......
I am starting to record your mp3 downloads to listen to while walking.
That way this fat man can enjoy something while suffering!

I was pleased to hear someone else has the same idea I had on one of your podcasts......
   Thompson/Rice in 08!
I have had that in my signature on our club website for a very long time.

Keep up the good work and thanks!
