Man boycotts Doritos over Super Bowl ad

Nohl Rosen loves cats.
"They're independent, they give you a lot of joy, they don't judge you," Rosen said.
But Rosen is quick to judge the Doritos ad first aired Super Bowl Sunday.
It showed a dog burying a cat collar, and it just so happens there's a missing kitty in the neighborhood.
At the end, the big old pooch bribes his owner to keep his mouth shut with a bag of Doritos.
"I'm appalled that someone would think it's amusing to abuse an animal. That killing a cat is amusing. It's not amusing to me," Rosen said.
He's hissing mad about the commercial.
I "was absolutely horrified," he said.  (what a puss)
Rosen is so ticked off he's started a petition to get it off the air.
In the meantime, he's boycotting anything made by Frito Lay or Pepsi.
"It's tough to give up something you enjoy, but at the same time you have to make a stand and do what you feel is right for you," Rosen said.

Those 1600 are REALLY going to put a dent in PepsiCo's bottom line.... ::)
PepsiCo reports: Reported net revenue increased 11 percent in the quarter to $20.2 billion.  Full-year reported net revenue increased 15 percent to $66.5 billion
BTW, that ad was voted the funniest ad of the Super Bowl

Damn!  That was my favorite one!  But then again, I am one of those that loved the farting Budweiser horse a few years back too.

Didn't last year the Doritos ad show a guy taunting a dog into or through a glass door? Where was the outcry?!?!

That poor man!!!! was crushed by the door and little dog!!!!!

Seems the guy needs to learn to tell the difference between reality and fantasy....

I started to wonder about it when the dog buried the collar and it became a certainty that it was all made up when the dog bribes someone.  Dogs just don't do bribes.

I laughed my bunny-butt off when I saw this ad.

And I love cats (I just can't eat a whole one by myself.)
