My state SUCKS! But I'm stuck here for awhile. Anyway, I blame UPS since they will only accept hand guns at the terminal locations and the closest one is an hour away. It's not like I'm in the middle of nowhere, I'm in New Jersey fachrissakes! Fuggetabbaattit!  At least I'll get a free CLIP out of it.  ;D

Got 'cha number now Haz....watch out.

I'm glad this recall came out this week...I was going to drop the SR9 off with a smithy to see if he could work the trigger for me...I picked up an M&P and love the trigger.  Wish I could put the M&P trigger in the SR9...that would be a timeless winner.

I was thinking that a trigger job was in its near future as well.  Hopefully the replacement will be better.

There was mention on one of the forums I read about the newer magazine design not working with the original magazine catch.  I wonder if Ruger has enough old magazines to cover the recall?  I guess they could update the mag catch at the same time. Or maybe the compatability issues is an internet myth.  It would be really annoying to get a " free " magazine that is not compatible with the pistol.

I'm glad to see that it's just not Glock that has an occasionaly problem or issue with a new pistol. :P    lol, I'm sure Ruger will get it all straightened out. If anyone is worried about it just get a Glock. I dropped mine one time from about ten feet high, straight onto a concrete sidewalk. I still cringe to think about it. Yes, it did have one in the pipe. Yes it was loaded. But, it did not go off... due to Glock safe action system. I've only ever dropped a gun two or three times, that being one of them. Sooner or later it is going to happen and I hope ruger does get it all worked out because it is important.

What do you think this is, a clip joint?   (I love that line)
You need to get out of that state as soon as you can.  Unfortunately I have to fly up to Newark (the garden spot of the garden state) in June to visit my wifes family.  At least it's close to upstate New York so we'll enjoy the scenery.  Tough going to a state that won't allow me to protect myself.
