+1 Timothy, Encountered the good, bad, and ugly from breeds that are supposed to be "domesticated",,,,also have seen Cesar Milan aka "Dog Whisperer" use Big Daddy, a huge pit bull stud as a counseling dog for another dog that went to the dark side and recovered.
There are leetle dogs that will tear your ankles off, and fighting/protective breeds that are wussies...My sister could hang off our 130 lb. Warlock Doberman's face as a toddler, and the dog loved it. But if the door was kicked in, (or a cocky meter man, back in the day) came into the yard, he was all business, until my Mother gave him the back off command in Swedish...
If you want a pit bull, you have to BE THE ALPHA, no excuses, no laziness, they are work dogs and need extra attention, training, work, play, and discipline. It ain't a lapdog, or porch lounger....
This is a GOOD DOG

This is a lucky, fugly dog....
