Can someone explain to an outsider how any african american can support the democratic party who in the past supported slavery and whose members formed the KKK?

It's easy. Blacks support the party who will give them the most entitlements. It's just that simple. Democrats use the entitlement programs as a fishing lure to get black, as well as other minority voters. That is why Democrats hold most all the government elected offices in highly populated black cities. Detroit, Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, etc. are all led by Democratic governments. When it comes to handouts, the blacks forget about slavery real quick.

Too bad they can't see that dependence on .gov is just the latest incarnation of slavery.  A more insidious incarnation, since those enslaved are lulled into the false belief that the slavemaster is a benefactor who has their best interests at heart.  And that they need the slavemaster because the "bad" people (those who work and pay the bills for the rest) are greedy and intent on keeping them down, while it is, in fact, the slavemaster who MUST keep them enslaved to maintain his power.

Blacks translate everything into "free" money. Look at "slavery reparations". They want money for it. Or as the more educated blacks like to call it, "restitution". A simple formal apology won't do. For blacks to forget, it must be backed with cash. I don't see how anyone can take these people seriously anymore. They manage to make a farce out of everything they get involved in.

Jesse Jackson makes all of this the most obvious. A few years back he showed up on NASCAR's doorstep complaining that NASCAR isn't giving black drivers a "fair shot" because there are no black NASCAR drivers. NASCAR caved to him and gave his organization a check for $150,000.00 and all of it went silently away. He did much the same with Budweiser saying they don't hire enough blacks in their breweries nationwide. After selling his son a Budweiser beer distributorship for all but pennies on the dollar, suddenly they did. All of it was nothing more than common extortion.

Blacks are much the same in all of the governments they control. That is why the most financially corrupt governments worldwide are all run by blacks. Look at the Haitian Relief effort. A vast amount of the cash was stolen by the black "performer" Wyclef Jean. He cannot account for millions of dollars that was donated. Blacks will many times starve their own people to satisfy their thirst for corruption. This has been proven over and over. There is no such thing as a black run "charity".

Right on the money, TT.   Welfare encouraged the father to get lost so the "family" would get better payments and also encouraged larger families for the extra payments.  Blacks aren't the only group enslaved this way.  Plenty of white folks are there with them.  Growing up in a Welfare family, it becomes the way of life for the kids and their kids.  Very hard to get out when you get all you need given to you and you just have to follow some "rules" to get it.  

It takes rare character to be able to get out of that cesspool if you were born and raised in it.

What they don't teach in school, and constantly try to hide, is that the KKK was not formed to fight "uppity Blacks".
It was formed by the Southern Democrats to resist the post war REPUBLICAN reconstruction program in it's entirety.
In fact, Republicans were not accepted in the Klan. Lets look at how well the Dems have treated Blacks over the years.

Wouldn't be appropriate without mentioning Senator (D-WV) Robert KKK Byrd, whose long tenure in the Senate, brought more pork and entitlements, to West "By God" Virginia...

Ku Klux Klan
