As I Predicted,...Just Waiting On The Riots....

Years ago, back in 81 or 82, I was driving home from a party a bit after midnight and realized I was running on fumes and still 10 miles from  home.   I also realized I had no cash with me....I don't remember how that came about...maybe I forgot my wallet or something.

Anyway, I figured I'd stop at each gas station I came to and drain the hoses into my tank and maybe be able to make it home.

At my first stop, in a poorer neighborhood, I was at the pumps, draining hoses, when a car pulls in and four black guys get out....two as big or bigger than me and two smaller.  

The driver asked me "what the hell I was doing" at the closed station, as it belonged to a friend of his.  I told him my story and after considering it, told me to wait where I was.  He and one of the smaller guys got in the car and drove with the other two waiting with me.

Didn't know if he was going to get the owner or the cops or what, but decided the wise thing to do was wait.  

A few minuted later he comes back and has a gallon gas can he hands me to pour into my tank.....knowing I had no money to pay for it.

Told him thanks and he told me to be more careful.


I know the "Black Society" in this country (and elsewhere) has many problems and many reasons for them....not excuses, but explanations...and carry a very large portion of the "causes" on their own shoulders....

But, I will never tar Blacks as a group with a brush so broad it will include those guys who helped a stranger in need....even if it was only a gallon of gas at '82 prices....and I'd hope that if he ever showed up here, he would not feel lessened by too broad a brush.

I do understand that, Tom.  I never thought otherwise of you.   My concern is that individuals who visit here won't be aware the "brush" missed them.

If they are here they are either trolls or most likely they agree with the points I'm trying to make.
They would not have bought a gun to protect themselves from the cops, or other law abiding citizens.
It's not individuals that are the problem, it is the culture and it's apologists that are the problem.
Let me use religion for an example.
Many say "America is a Christian nation."
That's BS that only someone completely ignorant of the 1stA would believe.
America has no official religion. We have people of all faiths following their own beliefs or none.
HOWEVER, The national CULTURE is Christian, Sunday is a day of "rest", not Friday the Muslim and Jewish Sabbath, Federal employees get time off for Christmas and Easter, not Tet, Kwanza, Samhain or Ramadan.
The "Black" community is the same.
There are many who bust their butt in school then in business, industry, and other fields, asking and accepting no favors ,who only demand their own personal best.
Remember the "Peanut guy" from school ? George Washington Carver is ranked among the countries top botanists and he did it before AA, desegregation, or any of the other crap.
The Culture on the other hand is 40 years of Affirmative Actions enforced preference and they are still losers, demanding ever more hand outs and special lower standards.
Who does this culture choose as their face ?
In politics it is a collection of fools, crooks and communists like Maxine Waters, Charley Wrangel, Holder and Obama.
In the community it is racists and extortionists like Sharpton, Farrakan, Jackson, and Wright.
In society it is drug dealing, ho pimping, "Rappers".
All of them "demanding" special treatment.
Did you hear the people of Seattle blaming the govt for the 7.1 earthquake they had a few years ago ?
7 years after the fact the people of New Orleans are still pissing and moaning about Katrina and the fact that they were to damn stupid to build above the level of the river that floods quite frequently.
Even the French were smarter than that, the French Quarter didn't flood.
Did you see Whites rioting when OJ was found not guilty of killing 2 whites ?
Contrast that to the reaction of blacks to the Rodney King trial.
Or Oakland when BART police shot a crime suspect who was black.
"Peaceful assembly for redress of grievances" does not include assault, arson and getting a new TV.

What would be the reaction if I started a magazine for and about whites and refused to hire a black who applied to be the Editor ? (Ebony a few months ago)
Or an all white cable network (BET ), or a White Congressional Caucus, or a National Association for the Advancement of White people.

Was at work the other day and was speaking to one of the associates. She was really bitter (She is black.) that Zimmerman was released. She made the comment that had it been a black man that shot a white man that there would be a riot. I advised her that Zimmerman was hispanic. "Oh yeah.", she replied and totally diffused the conversation.

Ignorance or fear always leads to prejudice. I am not unless someone treats me different because of the color of my skin. It has happened to me.

Now as for stupid people, well they should not be allowed to breed. LOL.

Ask yourself this:  Is there more than one culture for white people in america?  Are there numerous cultures of white people in America?  If so, wouldn't it stand to reason then that there are multiple cultures of black people in America as well?

And doesn't "White culture" have its own group of racists, fools, crooks, and commies as well?
Don't we have our own drug dealers and, as you call them, "ho pimpin'" rappers?
And don't forget our white seerial killers?  Yoou definitely see more of those than minority serial killers. 
Is that the example of white culture?

No.  And it's not the example of black culture either.  These are subcultures of a minority group in the various cultures of every race.  If our cultures were not so close in mindest would we now have a 15% population that is of "mixed" marriage?  I think not.


Also, do you really expect a lurker to know what is in your mind when you type something?  The typed word is the most often misunderstood form of communication out there, next to smoke signal.  There's no tone, no cadence, no inflection, nor facial expressions to work off of.  People don't know if you being silly, sarcastic, or serious.  They only have the words you leave as a reference to what you are trying to communicate.

So when it comes to BET and Jet look around and see that they will be lasting maybe three generations tops before integrating or dying off.

Ulmus, your post in the thread about about the french elections proves you don't know what you're talking about but since I can't sleep I will respond to your knee jerk diatribe.

I have presented a theory that starts with a baseline of conduct and family structure and incorporates 50 years of documented history and statistics on poverty, employment, crime, and family structure to arrive at conclusions that coincide with observed reality.

All you can come up with is a strident scream of "That's not true!"
There is no competing theory presented.
If as you insinuate I'm a racist I will say that my racism is a product of America's Black population.

2 of them are fantasies, in other words they are made up to draw viewers.
The rest actually reinforce my point of view since they show people working, creating, and doing.
If you want to see Blacks on TV you could always watch Cops, or Law and Order.
Or, (just to underline your ignorance) you could watch reruns of the 1965 series "I Spy".

The "all White" comment is not true, the Supreme court has ruled these groups can not bar any one who wishes to join.
NY no longer has a St Patrick's day parade because SCOTUS ruled that the Irish had to allow gays and blacks to march as well.
There has been no such ruling about deserving white students getting grants or scholarships from the "United Negro College Fund", or white politicians being allowed to join the "Congressional Black Caucus".

I've seen the "all white" suburbs of my childhood now having a good mix of both blacks and whites and you know what?  They are still clean, prosperous, and as low crime as they were as a child.

Sorry Ulmus, that dog not only won't hunt, it never could to begin with. As my mother said for over 30 years, show me one neighborhood, in one city, in one state, in any or all 50 states where the blacks moved in, and the whites moved out, and it got better? Just one. There isn't one, there never has been one, and there never will be one. I'll even go one better. Show me one country on the surface of this Earth that is black populated and black governed, that isn't a poverty stricken, corrupt, disease ridden stink hole. Again there isn't one, and never will be one. Blacks have destroyed prosperity everywhere they have managed to live in numbers, including this country.

South Africa is your best current example. When De Klerk and his all white regime ran it, it was the economic powerhouse of Africa. Then they, (the 97% black population), bitched and whined they didn't want apartheid. So De Klerk was forced out in favor of Nelson Mandela and his murdering wife, who the blacks couldn't get enough of, and who they thought would lead them to prosperity and more freedom. What he in fact gave them was a turd factory. Today Mandela is gone, and the reigns of that nation have been turned over to Jacob Zuma. Look at South Africa in less than 2 decades. It has become yet another a crime ridden $h!t hole, run and populated by blacks. Just like the endless list of $h!t hole governments the blacks have produced, and run directly into the ground in that continent. Today in South Africa property values have plummeted. The crime rate is soaring. 70% of black women in South Africa are HIV positive. Foreign investors have pulled out because the government has demanded idiot blacks be placed on the board of many of these South African companies. Businesses are closing up left and right. The only thing that has changed is the blacks have come into power. The rest of the story automatically writes itself. All the time, every time. When it comes to creating and maintaining prosperous living these people couldn't find their asses with both hands. Even when it's handed to them on a silver platter.

Are there some good, educated, hard working black people? Of course there are. But not enough to make a difference in their race as a whole. Now you can call me a racist for saying that. But the fact is if I didn't I would be nothing more than a politically correct liar. I see enough of that in the media every time I turn on the news, and I, like many Americans, are getting damn sick and tired of it. Their excuses are endless. Just like their ability to train wreck opportunity everywhere they manage to find it, or have it handed to them.
