Gun Show Today

 So I was at the gun show today and I saw a Remington 11-87 Police for $500 NIB!  I was going to get an 1100 Tac-4 but this looks like a pretty good deal.  So as always I turn to ya'll!  Any info or opinions on the 11-87 would be greatly appreciated.

Had one, bird gun, not the Police model, loved it. Sold it, never thought about turning it into a SD weapon. 26" barrel I think, nice gun. Something broke on the fifth shell ever fired out of it, Gander Mtn fixed it and I didn't even buy it there. No problems there on. Only range I had access to (near Chikago) was a 2-round max, so I never got to sweep a trench with it. Would have liked to . . . .

You tell em m58!  I shot thousands of rounds thru a balanced remington 1100 set/.410/28 ga, 20ga and 12 ga. That was about 20 years ago and I honestly can't remember ever having a malfunction. The gun your looking at is basically an improved 1100. (imagine that). I just don't think you can go wrong. Remington also stands behind their guns, especially their shotguns. I say go for it.
