Lucas,

I hope you've got this gun. The difference between the regular and Police models is, that internall parts are stress tested and guns assembled in the separate area of the plant. Most of the Police guns come with shorter barrels without the vent rib and no screw-in chokes, usually IC to shoot slugs and 00. They also come with the tube extenders for extra loads.

.40 cal.  I was thiking about going down to 9mm.  My wife is quite a little gal and she just can get ahold of the .40 and I would like to have something around she can handle.

Ohh yes,  dress code is all black ;D

I still tryin to find out if you decided on the Sig 556 or the XCR? Both would make a great addition, (I.m partial to the Sig 556 since I own one,) just curious if you found one yet.

Love Gun Shows,.. ;D

I'm In LOVE!!!  This thing is great!  I have a tendency to be very skeptical,  and I really like to do my homework.

This gun has already passed my expectations.  I had read in several places that the 11-87 didn't like to cycle the light rounds.  So,  I went and got 100 target loads figuring that I would see how bad it was.  Today in about 2 hours I shot 50 rounds with only 1 FTE,  plus I was letting them off as fast as I could.  I know that no failure is a good one,  but the way I understood was that it was 1 in every 3.  It handled 2 3/4 slugs better than my 870.  One of which I toar through the steel toe of one of my old work boots at 25 yards.

With that being said,  I am sorry there are none left.  As a matter of fact,  when I went back the next day and it was gone :'(  While dealing with my pain I walked around the table next to his and lo and behold there was a brand new 11-87 for $560.  I had given the gun a once over the day before and asked the guy at this table and he said he had just bought it that morning (same frickin gun)  So having found my long (or short) lost love I gladly paid the extra $60
