Smith&Wesson Model 15 Combat Masterpiece in .38 Special, 4" barrel.  Was my EDC from '77 to '84, used as a back-up til 89.  Bought it brand spankin' new then.  I've probably got 10 or 12K rounds through it.  When I shot a lot, I could make six holes rapid fire at 10 yards you could cover with a silver dollar.  She sits on a shelf now, I fondle her more often than I do my wife.

I do have a Colt SAA in .45 Colt.  Just because everybody who watched Gene and Roy and Rex wanted one.

Ruger Red Hawk in .44Mag (DA)
Ruger Single Six in .22 (SA)
Rossi .357 Mag (DA)

Ruger Red Hawk would be my favorite carry gun except I can't conceal it, and I walk with a limp when I try.  The Rossi is a regular carry piece.

Well I'm sure the Taurus fans are not pleased you didn't provide them a selection in the survey.

Not to mention a whole slew of other makers like Dan Wesson and H&R.

And you did know that S&W made a whole boat load of Single Actions, right?   They just don't look like the classic Colt.  They look like a modern double action revolver.

The survey is a little skewed since it gives equal weight to a voter with one Colt verses a voter with say ... a dozen S&Ws.

I love shooting all the L and N frame S&Ws.   .45 ACP is a creampuff in a revolver.

Of interest, I have my grand dad's .32S&W DAO pocker revolver and his brother's black powder M&P in .38spl, that he carried as a policeman in Cordele, GA.

I also have my dad's  H&R 999 Sportsman, 9 shot .22lr.
