Is it bad of me to think:

Giffords was shot in the HEAD. Most of us wouldn't survive that. Not only did she survive, but she is back to work in Congress! Although didn't she change parties to Democrat? Proof that Congress members have no brain, no spine, no heart. etc.

Not only that but she was sohot with a pistol not an "assault weapon."
Survival rates of pistol wounds are pretty high, even head shots.  They tend to dump energy pretty quickly when hitting bone.

The bullet that hit Giffords went all the way through her brain and came out the other side.

Gaby was a Democrat before the incident. 

She was even more of a Democrat after she lost a significant portion of her gray matter.

Before, she was pretty solidly pro-2-A.

After, not so much.

I wish her no ill will, and I am saddened that she has been so damaged by a madman.  But, surviving a head-shot gives her no greater authority to speak of restricting my rights.

In point of fact, it seems she may be less able to comprehend the intent of the Second, and it is unconscionable that she would be paraded about in this misguided effort to deprive lawful gun owners of our rights.

Damn billt, could you imagine the panic if they pulled a Ronnie Barrett, (suspended all .50 BMG sales to California LEO's) and just said "all gov't ammo contracts, except to active military, sales are postponed till further notice".....

Oh I would love it.... ;D

As would I. The government produces nothing. It takes money from us for them to buy things that WE manufacture. This would teach them that lesson very quickly.

I'm asking a serious question. It has me spooked. Enough ammo to plant five rounds in every man, woman, and child in the US.

I don't have any use for Infowars, I've never found them to be reliable, and this is a good example.
The sensational headline says DHS bought sh!t load of ammo.
But in the article it says, "A solicitation posted yesterday".
In other words they haven't bought squat , they are shopping for potential future purchases .
