Goebbels Propaganda Dept. would be so proud of how the Progressive Movement carries the same methods into the 21st century...

and to the sheeple:

it still works.....
Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

But we know it's nothing but a photo op set up other wise there would be choke tubes in both barrels.

There very well could be. Most standard screw in choke tubes fit flush with the muzzle of the gun. Usually, but not always, the extended tubes are extra full like those used by Turkey hunters and handicap Trap shooters. Some extended chokes are longer to reduce the taper in the choke itself. This is said to produce better patterns. The O/U he is shown to be shooting has much longer barrels than are commonly used in Skeet. Most skeet shotguns have 24" or 26" barrels, and very open chokes. His rig looks like more of a Sporting Clays set up. One barrel set up for a close in shot, the other at distance. Hardly a Skeet set up.

The gun is a Browning with ported barrels, and the choke tube being fired appears to be a Browning Extended Invector Double Seal Choke Tube like this one:

All of this makes me believe it was staged, and the simple fact is you are more likely to see Jane Fonda shooting skeet, than you are this communist.

If it is staged they must have checked the weather report for 4 Aug, as it was 88-90F with no precip in nearby Frederick. It would be 3-5F cooler on Catoctin Mtn (where Camp David is located). The grass and trees would be green as shown and short sleeves would be appropriate for the area. As for shadows that would depend on time of day. If he golfed in the AM and helo'd to Camp David, he should have had plenty of time to shoot skeet in the afternoon with plenty of sun until 5PM when the canopy up there should be casting some good shadows. The winds were 6 - 20mph (gusts) and hard to tell if his hair is mussed up (where is Michelle when you need her?), but that could play havoc with the porting visual (?). If this is a hurried photoshop, they couldn't recreate the scene in the last week or so as we have had near continuous snow on the ground with brown grass and no leaves on trees lately. That leaves the state of the shotgun, which already has been addressed.

Suggest we ask for a second photo, same season, perhaps with Michelle in the picture.

"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

It gets even better, some lady Representative from Tenn has challenged him to a match since he's such an experienced shooter.  ;D

http://www.newsmax.com/Newsfront/Obama-Skeet-Shooting-photo-released/2013/02/02/id/488595?s=al&promo_code=124F2-1

Representative Marsha Blackburn, Republican of Tennessee, expressed doubt about Obama’s skeet shooting.

“You know, if you don’t have the photos, if this is not something that’s a new hobby, then I think he should invite me out to Camp David and I’ll challenge him,” Blackburn said on CNN, according to a transcript.

Asked at the press briefing for a reaction to Blackburn’s challenge, Carney responded, “I have none.”

It seems every one is calling BS on the picture and Obama's claim. This from the same article

A top official with the National Skeet Shooting Association said the photo suggests Obama is a novice shooter.

"This isn't something he's done very often because of how he's standing, how he has the gun mounted," said Michael Hampton, executive director of the San Antonio-based association.

Hampton said Obama's remark about "skeet shooting all the time" and the White House photo would have met less skepticism had the president spoken about his hobby months before this new debate over guns in the U.S.

"Once it becomes controversial and there's problems, to talk about it then, that's where it becomes very debatable and is not being received as well as if he would have done this six months ago," Hampton said.

One thing I noticed when I blew the photo up on my iPad was that the front smoke seems to be coming from the barrel starting at the outer edge of the barrel/choke, while the top part of the smoke starts below the choke ring.

There's that and the whole only the right side port seems to be working thing. And the wind disbursement of the smoke that MB spoke of, and . . ..

well, you get the idea.

Bottom line:

1.  Admit you exaggerated you shooting experience;
2.  Quit trying to prove you are a gun guy;
3.  Move forward as the anti-freedom President you are, so we can battle where it matters.

We know you hate guns, we know you lie, and we know you will not admit to your mistakes.

This guy truly is a student of Pres. Clinton  >:(

The really funny part is that according to US v Miller that shotgun is not protected by the 2nd A and could be banned.
But NOT our AR's AK's etc ;D
