SHAME on you Maryland, State Senator Jamie Raskin .
« on: February 07, 2013, 01:24:19 PM »
During a public hearing last night in Annapolis about new sweeping gun control proposals in Maryland, State Senator Jamie Raskin decided to ignore testimony by pro-Second Amendment attendees and play chess instead.

Maryland Shooters posted the photo on their Facebook page and people were not impressed.

I would have half-expected porn.   ::)

Talk about an assclown.

They do not want to hear what we have to say because it makes too much sense.
"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

Hi;

     actually, this is good for our side. We definately know where he is coming from and now no lip service. The other side would be just as pissed if a pro-gun legislator did it to them.

     All of this is good throughout the country, supposed pro-gun elected officials backed by the NRA are now showing their true colors and we can now decide who gets money and who we have to get voted out.

     Barry is forcing people to stand up and declare their beliefs and intentions. Had he not opened his mouth and try to force this issue, many of the real hidden anti's would have given lip service for NRA backing.  Now they can't and must be made to suffer the concequences.

     Barry's second term is not going to be a happy time for him or the Dem's.

I have to confess that if I had been sitting through those hearings I would only have paid attention long enough to ask a few "gotcha" questions of the anti's and then then played solitaire or something.
For the same reason, my mind has been made up for 45 years, no one on either side is going to say anything to change it.
Then I would have introduced a bill to repeal the GCA 68 and the NFA.

That's what I get from it too.  He probably didn't even look up, no matter which side of the debate the speaker was on.

Our local Sen, although a Dem, has a clear record of supporting CCW and firearms in general.  He and I have discussed it numerous times.  His read on it is 1/3 of MD legislature personally is pro-gun, 1/3 is anti, and the rest are on the fence.  The problem is the 1/3 that are anti are from Bmore, Prince Georges, and Anne Arundle counties where all the people are.  Anything that hits a ballot is DOA, most others sit in committee until dead because the committee is led by the guys from Bmore/Annapolis.
When seconds mean the difference between life and death, the police will be minutes away.

You are either SOLVING the problem, or you ARE the problem.

We have the same problem with the Seacoast area, Manchester, and Nashua .
If we could get Mass to take those places back officially we would go back to being a prosperous Red State.
