I have to confess that if I had been sitting through those hearings I would only have paid attention long enough to ask a few "gotcha" questions of the anti's and then then played solitaire or something.
For the same reason, my mind has been made up for 45 years, no one on either side is going to say anything to change it.
Then I would have introduced a bill to repeal the GCA 68 and the NFA.
That's what I get from it too. He probably didn't even look up, no matter which side of the debate the speaker was on.
Our local Sen, although a Dem, has a clear record of supporting CCW and firearms in general. He and I have discussed it numerous times. His read on it is 1/3 of MD legislature personally is pro-gun, 1/3 is anti, and the rest are on the fence. The problem is the 1/3 that are anti are from Bmore, Prince Georges, and Anne Arundle counties where all the people are. Anything that hits a ballot is DOA, most others sit in committee until dead because the committee is led by the guys from Bmore/Annapolis.
