I'm surprised that this idiot is not recommending a pump shotgun, because we all know that just racking the action will scare even the worst of the worst away.

In Greasy Joe's world, a single shotgun blast into the air will bring the chandelier crashing down on the bad guy, thwarting his bad intentions.

I'm sure he also has banana peels scattered around his sidewalk to trip up burglars and a pile of seed right next to the sign that reads "free bird seed" beneath a precariously hanging anvil to catch all of those pesky road runners. 

This, I like...... may have to look into that set-up myself.... will call ACME soon.   ;)  ;)

Someone should contact all 50 Attorneys General and ask them if "The Vice President told me to do it" would be a sufficient defense to be acquitted after shooting a shotgun through a door and killing the wrong person.

THe only way I can ever see shooting thru a door or wall being ok is if you are returning fire.   even then its iffy.
I always break all the clay pigeons,  some times its even with lead.

Can I point out an important issue that our Vice President, in all of his firearm and self defense expertise, is missing?

I'm not taking credit for this, but I am pointing out what Michael Bane reminded us of last night.

Through testing it has been shown that for in house self defense a 5.56 or .223 round is less likely to cause collateral damage than a shotgun.
