I've said it before, talk of "UN Troops" is paranoid, uninformed idiocy.
Who supplies the man power ?
How do they get here, who pays for it ?
Have you ever stopped to think how many troops would be required ?
It took 70,000 US troops over a month to secure a rock called Iwo Jima.
The Germans invaded Russia with over 4 million men and never made it to Moscow.
The type of operation required to put a meaningful military force ashore on the US would cripple the world economy.
No matter what uniforms they wear any troops the may operate in the US will be Americans.

That is all true if the goal is to conquer the US, but if it turns out that, say, only half the military is following BHO's orders, only enough fighters to ensure a destructive civil war would be needed.

A lot of feet on the ground would not be  needed either...just enough hardware to knock out major manufacturing centers.

You have to remember the current population of the United States is over 310,000,000. That's a lot of people to try and change their behaviour. Especially when most of them are pissed off. The liberals hate guns, so they wouldn't last 5 minutes if they even had enough guts to support Hussein in a "Civil War". The Barbara Streisand's, Joy Behar's, and Sean Penn's of the world would be all hiding under their beds.

There is no way troops, not to mention military leaders, would support such action, let alone carry it out. Remember, we have an all volunteer army. They chose the military. And they didn't choose it to kill Americans. And if they tried to institute the draft in order to pull off such a fiasco, they would have so many draft dodgers it would make the 60's look pale in comparision. The entire thing is absurd, and nothing more than a wet dream, if even that, for Hussein.

Yes, but you can't compare whacking Anwar Al-Aulaqi with shooting half the population of Cedar Rapids, Iowa because they won't open their doors to have their weapons taken. One was relatively easy to accomplish. The other is an undertaking that is all but impossible.

Yes, you can. especially if you factor in the Govt drone murder of his 16 Y/O son 2 weeks later.

Lack of willpower to whack him. However I believe that BHO HAS the will to come after us. We are in a cold war against the government. I think most of us right now are competing in an arms race and holding our breath, waiting for the next "shot heard round the world". The one that turns this current cold war hot.

All true if you consider an invasion in combat, like Iwo, Russia, Normandy, et al.

What happens, though, if they are invited in? I just read a story - on Facebook, so you know it has to be true!!!!!  ;D - about men traveling with one of DHS's new armored cars (1 of what was it, 2700?) on a flatbed truck, who all wore DHS uniforms with eagle insignia and who spoke with eastern European accents.

Forget the conspiracy stuff, importing foreign troops who do not have to fight their way in is a radically different story than an invasion in open combat.

And who would pay for it? We would, of course. Or rather, the .gov would.

It doesn't matter.
There are not enough available troops, ( troops not committed to other defensive duties by their own countries) to amount to a piss hole in the snow.
Everyone needs to face the reality that the future is not "Red Dawn" of the 1980's.
It will be Bosnia of the 1990's, or Kansas/Missouri of the 1850's.
