Boston Bombing. Blame the guns
« on: April 15, 2013, 03:22:43 PM »
I'm sure you all have seen now the bombing at the Boston Marathon. Don't you all hate when we are right? We been telling the world since Conn shooting happened. It doesn't matter guns or no guns there are sick people out there and mass killings will happen weather it's with a spoon, a bomb, or a gun.

Still somehow I know the liberals will blame radical gun owners for this.

Let me add. My heart goes to all that has been effected. My country is under attack from a hidden villain. I fear and pray for all of our futures. I hope that an incident like this will bring everyone together and realize it isn't just one thing or group of people who enjoy their rights. I hope in coming together a strong defense and offense is put into place by "we the people." If we stand united and all of us understand the truths and horrors of the world from incidents like this and others and not blame law abiding Americans but realize the real enemy and threat of our country and where it comes from. We stand as a nation once again and instill a fear and power through out the world that we are America. And this republic works.

I heard a talking head on CNN say it may have been Al Qaeda or "some other right wing group."

Never let a crisis go to waste.

The bastards.

All I've heard was that a Nigerian and a Kenyan won.

I know in the wake of things we must be above our opponents who use these tragedies to push their agendas. But I sure would like an Apology from some many who said guns are the problem. And the reason these things happen. Cause when I pointed out take away guns and you get things like this. I was called a fear monger. That I was crazy. And bombings won't happen here. "It's all guns."

To many oddities for it to be coordinated and organized, IMO.  The vidoe of both explosions look to be fairly low yield, small plume, blast wave didn't seem overly powrful.  Not a lot of frag either or the body count would have been exponentially higher.  People approx 30-40 ft away were barely effected.  Suitcase or smaller device, no additional frag, maybe some glass.  Why set it off three hours after the winners passed, after most of the TV crews were packing up and or gone?  Hit it when the first group come in and it's WELL covered as opposed to one or two outlets and cell cameras.  I'd ALMOST say specific target, but why multiple devices and timed differently?  If you're setting off multiples, set the first and wait until all the first responders get on scene to set the second, increased panic.  Not very sophisticated if they weren't detonated together, and the third+ device didn't go at all.
When seconds mean the difference between life and death, the police will be minutes away.

You are either SOLVING the problem, or you ARE the problem.

J- that was my first thought that there was a specific target they were going after. But now it just looks like a bungled op. Mis-timed and if what I am reading is true multiple devices are being found. So maybe like you said a bunch of people carrying bags or something were all supposed to set them down and all go off at the same time and with so many people involved things are bound to get messed up. Just a thought have no proof of anything. It's a shame either way. This kind of thing is supposed to be stopped by homeland security.

I heard one report that they were holding a suspect at a hospital.  Definitely sounds like amateur night.

Even though it could have been much worse, it is still a major travesty with people losing their lives and many injuries.

It was correctly timed. You set off when the winers are there there a dozen people. Set it off when the bulk of the pack arrives? You get lots more. Apparently they're saying now that there were four devices found. Apparently the last two were either duds or designed for first responders. In other bad news, it is Patriot's day in Mass, and tax day. If this is home grown I'll wring the guy's neck.
