Sorry DiFi, not even wheeling out Lautenberg D-NJ helped.....

I guess political survival, for Dems in Red States, means more than towing party lines. Reid D-NV, however voted for it.

Remember these names of your Senators folks....

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

Veterans won't get a fair shake if deemed incompetant with a Court review, Burr Amendment defeated.

Now we have the lying D- CT Blumenthal about his service in Vietnam and his Amend. Banning High Capacity Mags.

No,... I expect more Exec. Orders from the Annointed One, and the country is still stockpiling just to keep up with DHS...

Now this is a lot of good news so far.....just have to go after what should have passed soon as we are able.

Hussein just finished a big whine fest, complete with his usual dog and pony show of grieving mothers, little kids, and Gifford's in tow. The more pissed he gets, the better I like it. Even with all of his warped and twisted statistics. "90% of Americans favor increased background checks!", he can't get it passed in his Democratic controlled Senate. Hell, even his Senate Majority Leader voted against it. Ya' gotta love it.

High Cap Mag Lautenberg/Blumenthal Amend. FAILS

Last one,...

Sen. Reid,.....votes continue tomorrow.

Maybe mag prices will normalize....unless BHO gets even more froggy with Exec. Orders.....but today,....just today,...I am glad the Senate remains incompetant.

I would not be surprised of some BHO supporters in congress are starting to see a lot of brown grass in the paradise they have been believing just needed a little bit of Trillions of Dollars to green up.

They also know that if it keeps going south, they will be on the firing line (re-election wise) and that they will have to live here with the disaster and disgruntled populace, unlike BHO who has his real home country to go to.

Send him a thank you letter for that vote. There is a Senate rule that says if the majority leader votes yeah on on a bill that is defeated, it cannot be brought up again. By voting yeah, he killed the the thing. Hat's off to Reid. He earned his NRA A rating today.
