Do you carry plus 1?

i am just wondering how many of you carry your gun plus 1?   if yes, do you drop the mag and top off or does it come from another mag?   I always just carry what ever the mag holds.  I figure droping the mag to top off/ change adds another point where I could screw up.

I used to carry full capacity then top off the mag.But then king cuomo passed the 7 round max for magazines so now I carry the mag with 7 and top off for 8 in the 1911 plus 4 spare mags (I used to carry 2 spare 8 round plus the 9 in the gun) ;D ;D

Always carry +1. Just drop and top.  Follow the 4 rules and nothing bad happens  ;D

I carry/compete with +1.  If a stage only requires 6 rounds I top off just to be sure no matter what.  I don't like USPSA and IDPA because they limit what I can carry.  I wouldn't do it in the REAL world, why do it in IDPA where it's supposed to represent real life?

Go to the range and run your normal carry magazines with your normal carry ammo and see what happens.  Its always +1 for me.

I usually top off from a separate magazine making sure that I use the same round.  When I see or suspect any set-back that round goes to the range and I replace it with a fresh one.

+1 for me in my LCP that I carry a lot, because we're talking such limited capacity.    I also shoot it about once a month too.

In my other two main defensive guns with larger capacities (G17 and G23) I actually back off 1 round so as not to stress the magazine.   They are kept loaded for long periods and aren't exercised nearly as much.

I always carry plus 1. (plus  second mag)

Gun ALWAYS goes bang the first time I pull the trigger.

I, too, always carry +1, and often with a spare magazine.  I've numbered all my magazines and rotate out which magazine is in use. When I get to the range I always shoot the magazine that I was carrying that week before switching to less-expensive practice ammo.
