Reminds me of an old MASH episode when Charles Winchester confronts a hyper Hawkeye. He says "Yes it is the break of day. We used to have a dog. He too was cheerful in the morning. We sold him to a Korean family. And they ate him". Sound words. I've given that speech to my pooch and she's much better behaved.
