What did ya'll do yesterday or for the weekend???
« on: June 23, 2013, 08:40:26 AM »
I went to the Oklahoma Full Auto Shoot and Trade Show in Wyandotte, OK.

Doesn't have "the barn" with all the parts like Knob Creek but the firing line is a bit longer with more guns on the line at a time and the range is cooler.

Here's my sweetie below:

I sure didn't have as much fun as you did, that's for sure. I'm jealous, the Kommiefornicated people here in CO. are sheeple and last yr. the full auto shoot was canceled and I don't think it'll come back :'(. Hummmmmm - OK isn't that far to go - a good days drive from Kommiefornicated Colorado.

Wow! North East PA to Alaska .... That's a heck of a transition.  Good luck panning, just remember do your panning where gold has been found before. Do some research, ask around cause it'll increase your chances and be sure you aren't on someone's claim. Claim jumping is frowned upon and ya loose all your gear as well as a hefty fine. I use to pan then I bought a metal detector, it's a lot easier on the ol'back & knees. If ya got time check out www.nuggethunting.com Rob has a great forum. Good luck & enjoy Alaska!

Got to confess mine is the ugly sister.  Semi-auto.  Much more affordable in more than one way.

I was on the line with a friend of mine who had a papered up full auto Ma Deuce, couple of M-16's and a M-14.

I am glad that Wideners had 100 rounds linked new 1940's ammo a couple of years ago for $225.

Yeah a bit different up here for sure. But we went to a known mine that is still producing and is open to the public. Ended up with six pickers in six hours so that equate to about $1.50 an hour. Need to make a sluice box so I can clean more material. The wife even enjoyed it.
