Santahog - I feel your pain, though not as much as you. I had 1K rnds. of 5.56 ammo delivered , UPS said it was delivered and left at my front door @ 12:56 hrs. I arrived home @ 1400, as I drive by the front door to get to my driveway, I saw no package. Got out of my truck looked around the exterior of house NOTHING! I checked with all the neighbors and nothing, nada, niltch! I called UPS, was told by the lady that they don't do the investigation regarding missing packages, I need to call the shipper. I called the shipper & got the ol'recording - all our operators are busy yada, yada, yada. as per the shippers instructions on the recording I sent them an email regarding missing package. Now given the current anti-gun situation especially here in CO. (No thanks to Bloomberg & son of Bloomberg Gov. Chickenpooper) I notified the Sheriffs dept. to report the missing package, the sheriffs deputy thanked me for doing this

. Four and a half hours later, the door bell rings and I hear the UPS truck driving away. I wasn't fast enough to yell at the UPS guy before he split. Lo and behold a package is laying at the front door - MY AMMO!

I sent an email to UPS regarding the 4.5 hr delay in delivery AFTER the fact they sent me confirmation of it. They replied that they have no idea why the delivery confirmation was sent and it was canceled sometime later on their tracking system.
So I called the Sheriffs Dept. back to let them know I am in possession of the ammo - case solved. I orderd another 1K and will see what happens with this delivery.
