I am all in favor of Civil Action and I think Zimmerman should start with NBC for editing his 911 calls, then he should move on to CNN and MSNBC.  After that every poverty pimp and public figure pushing for charges starting with Al Sharpton and Jamie Fox. It's a shame he can't sue Zero (BO) for taking sides and behaving stupidly!

I have kept tabs on the case fro the start and rather than having answers, I still have questions.
 1. Why was he even charged other than simple politics?
 2. Why do these so-called community leaders constantly play the race card when race is no factor, other than to desperately try to remain relevant?
 3.  Why now is there a push to have our stellar Attorney General look into charging Zimmerman criminally with civil rights violations? Again, other than political pressure?
Even if Zimmerman was following Martin(which I would not have advised), he had a right to do so, And Martin had a right to confront Zimmerman about following him(again, not advised). What Martin DID NOT have a right to do was attack Zimmerman. I also never heard anyone bring up the doctrine of Disparity of Force directly. This whole thing was a hot mess and a lesson to the rest of us that the most justifiable use of force can become a political fiasco. Prosecutors are political animals by nature so we all need to make sure our actions are seen as above board.

Well, one benefit of having been tried with all the bias from the media and political leaders, it can never reasonably be said that it was white washed.

THe only reason he was charged was politics.   the grand jury no billed it. It was not binding, but at that point if it had not been politics, it would have been droped at that point.  If it had not been on the news, it would have never got that far.( unless the law required it)

Everybody, and I mean EVERYBODY, needs to read Massad Ayob's four phrases to be recited following a defensive action, watch this trial, especially the closing arguments, reread Massad's words, and utilize them anytime you are involved with anything that could come back to bite you.

To quote Ron White:  George Zimmerman "had the right to remain silent, but [he] didn't have the ability."  And, this is what came back from the prosecution as "he lied, he lied, he lied".

saw this posted on the net  had a lol..

Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them

M 58  having read that more then a few times, even if he had fallowed them to the letter, it would not have mattered in this case.   the media went full bore after him, if they had not it would have been forgotton quickly.

TAB,

Have you watched, listened to, or read the proceedings?  It is classic adrenalin induced affects.  It is also classic accusations based on the changing stories as the affects wear off.  Law enforcement and local prosecutors recognized it and worked through the affects immediately.  However, the prosecutors kept harping on George Zimmerman "lied, and lied, and lied."  That was the only part of the entire trial that concerned me as it went tot he jury.

If I appear taller than other men it is because I am standing on the shoulders of others.
