Check the link for details as it only applies to a range of SNs, one of which is mine  >:(

Just went on the website, followed the link and checked my serial number. It says mine is NOT part of the recall. I photographed the page and I'm trying to confirm through email.

OOPS!!!! Something was nagging at me so I re-checked my serial number, went to the Springfield website and plugged it in, and I had made an error in the SN the first time around. Got my label and ran the 67 mile round trip to the closest manned Fedex shop.

Glad I caught it.

For those of you who didn't even have a chance to shoot yours, you are better off. You won't miss it as much while it's gone.

I only had a couple hundred rounds through mine but I still miss it. Hope to have it back soon, almost two weeks now.

Have recieved email that they have tested and confirmed the repair (I don't like to refer to it as an "Upgrade"- that's BS). Springfield says we'll all be very happy with our "upgraded" pistols and that they have already started return shipping the pistols, first come, first served.

I'm hoping it runs just like it did when it was new. You know how I get when I don't like my upgrade.

I think a nice gesture would be a 50% off coupon for a new gun.

That won't happen, but maybe for a mag or free mag.
