Believing what you see is fine.  Keep in mind is it what you see or is it what the authors of such conspiracy theories want you to see?   Another way to look at it is, could it also be what they don’t show you?  Kind of like the magic act where the babe gets ripped my a chainsaw but lives to take a bow at the end of the show.  You know it's fake, you want to believe it's a fake ... but it sure looks real.

This and other works on “conspiracy theories” appear to either be the works of the same people that thought that the moon landings were fake and that the Pope killed John Lennon or that of Islamo-fascist trying to get Americans to doubt their government.  To this, if you really wanted to find a group that would (could & should) logically doubt their government, gun owners would be a primary target for such propaganda. 

There is too much scientific evidence and witnesses to buy it.  But believe what you want.

Side notes.  A fraternity brother of mine was supposed to be on AA#77 that hit the Pentagon.  He was back east on business and heading home to LA but in typical fashion, got too drunk the night before and missed his flight.  He was a little freaked out after this.  One friend said he didn't leave his home for close to a year.  Another friend of mine is a retired Lt. Col. USAF and when he quit driving F-16's and doing some "secret squirrel" work he ended up as a captain on AA.  He knew some of the crew.  When I shared this article with him, he said as Jim Urban and others did, "Consider the source".  He also came back later and said that some of the timelines for service quoted for the military personel mentioned in this article don't match up.  BTW ... he loves the H&K he is authorized to carry too.

There was an engineering analysis of the twin towers collapse produced within a day from respected independent academic - not government - engineers. It was distributed to US engineers almost immediately. The fire and collapse of the floors above into the floors below brought down the buildings. The mechanism for that is covered in the analysis in detail. This was accepted by the engineer in charge of the WTC design.
There is further a video of the plane hitting the pentagon. Contrary to the conspiracy link provided, I have seen the video. There is also an AF video of a pre-9/11 test to show what happens when a jet hits a solid object at high speed. There is nothing left of the jet period. It turns in to vapor and dust including the GE engines! And, not a lot of damage is done to the concrete block. Think of a shaped charge effect - a big blast and a very small hole.
Now if you want to cover a cover up of the government's ineptitude . . . . I spent 27 years total in the military. I was qualified -- kicking and screaming I will admit -- in Air Defense at the Artillery Advanced Course in 1967. I will tell you no one wants to be the one who shoots down a civilian airliner filled with passengers! So, tell me again just what are the "normal" procedures to follow to do this? Sorry, reluctance to kill a bunch of your own people when the facts are not clear about just what is happening does not rise to the level of incompetence in my book.
If there were a government cover up of ineptitude wouldn't it be inept as well? Someone always talks, or publishes a book. If our government cannot keep its secrets, as appears, there is NFW it could keep something like this secret in this MSM environment. Ron J has it right.

Most likely it will fall into the ever deep barrel along with the Kennedy assassinations.. all the information about the deaths of associates of Bill Clinton.... Chandra Levy....Roswell and UFO's.....etc etc etc etc etc....
...like I say. just add it to the ever growing list.

If that day of honest truth comes and I'm wrong, I'll be the first one to admit it in front of everyone. In fact I hope more than anything that it was just as our honest and upstanding government says it is.

Until then...........I'm not gonna call the fireman and the people who were there liars, and tell them that they didn't really hear the successive blasts in both buildings as it was crumbling down in a nice neat and timely fashion. ..and I'm not going to try to convince myself that I see all forms of burnt wreckage and destruction at the pentagon throughout the grounds  when all I see is a round frickin' hole in the side of the building.
Ya don't need anyone making a video pointing out this fact. Common sense and relative decent eyesight should tell you that something other than an "airplane with large wings " was the cause of this hit.
but whatever makes anyone sleep better at night is what a person should stick with.

There is only one problem with you reasoning M'ette, none of US have the training to REALLY know what we are seeing. Look at the UFO reports from  Area 51, people said they saw things flying that looked like "No plane they ever saw" Turns out they were test flights of the F-117 Stealth Fighter, which didn't look like ANY other previous aircraft.

You bring up valid points ... based on what you have seen or what you were told.  But it goes to what you were not told and to what you were not shown.  Check out the links that I previously attached.  They address all your thoughts and fears such as the explosions, why the buildings fell the way they did, what firemen said and why, the hole in the Pentagon (which was actually over 75'), what happens to a jet at .4+ mach when it hits something, etc. 

Kind of to what Tom said, these sources all have the training to share scientific facts to what happened.  As well there are several eyewitness accounts that the conspiracy theorists have conveniently left out.

To this, when I researched the conspiracy theories and when I saw the overwhelming physical evidence of the attack and the scientific proof of what happened from the attack, it made me REALLY PISSED OFF at the Islamo-nuts … again.  This was an attack on our country by Islamic radicals.  We can't forget ... we need to continue to hunt their asses down and plant them.

That's the first reason why I dismissed just the thought of a conspiracy! 

Some people have spent a lot of time developing the conspiracy theories.  The one from this post was not as well put together as the one that Marshal'ette posted, "9-11 In Plane Sight".  VERY believable half truths that when strung together WITHOUT showing all the facts can make a very compelling story.  Dig deeper to figure out if they have developed such stories because they are crazy OR if their motive is for propaganda.

Seems like a lot of family members to pay off to keep silenced!

I am a pilot for a major Airline and I do not care how good rumor control is. If it was a "Government  Cover Up" we would know about it. The industry is very small compared to the population. Everyone I fly with knows "somebody" you know.... flew with in the military, ran into at another airline, helped get hired....

189 people with families, friends, relatives... Think about it.
