Always thought that Sig's were fine guns..... shot many.... never owned one..... would love an older P220.
As a side note:
I guess I got a scientific 'speriment of my own going.

I have a Ser. 70 Colt Gov't Model in .45 ACP with twenty-four year old Wolff springs. It was made in the early 70's, and I bought it when I turned twenty-one. I put all new springs in it then, and have not changed them yet. For the first six years I owned it, it was my Bullseye Competition gun for centerfire stages. I ran 400/500 rounds per month for six years and then tapered off. It has to have had at least 40k rounds through it in those twenty-four years and it still shoots well.
From a bench-rest with custom-rolled ammo (200gr lead SWC with 5.0 grs of Accurate #5), it'll shoot single-ragged-hole groups.
Of course, I do not depend on this gun for SD, but I would not hesitate to call on it if pushed into it.
Did I ever mention that I love my 1911's?
