why do people put up with bad realtionships??

i don't get it.  A freind of mine was complaining how his GF had a EX of hers move in with her becuase he was not working.   Its been 4 months, whats worse is they also go with a group of friends( bad kind) on over night trips and get drunk.   Rather he is being cheated on or not is up for debate, but the other stuff is more then enought of a WTF.   dumb her ass and move on.

Exactly, the ex moving in would have been  way overboard for me.  I can see maybe if there was an emergency, but then we are talking a few days max, maybe.  I still would never do that, i would put them up in a hotel, it would be a lot better for all envoled.  The overnight trips with friends to party is also a big no no for me.  Even with out the ex,  unless its like a batchlorette party, i would expect to be invited.  I would not go if i could not bring my SO.   i should point out that these trips happen every few weeks.  Another big red flag he mentioned was she was worried about getting an IUD, only my friend has been snipped.  I mean wtf, can she suck a bowling ball thru a gardne hose?

Some people crave drama and will go out of their way to find it.  Every one of us knows people like this.  People like that aren't capable of being in a healthy, normal relationship.

Whatever floats yer boat, I guess.  Just don't bring the drama around me.

i don't think it was a drama deal with him,  he has never been like this before.  I really think he really loved this women and  let his feelings for her blind him from the truth.  Then again who knows, once the heart gets envoled the head stops working.   then there is blood can only flow to one head at a time...

I had a sister (deceased) whose husband started an internet conversation that became a romance with his HS sweetheart.  He eventually moved the woman from OH to NM and into my sisters house.  She was technically separated from the douche bag but remained because of her trouble son.  We (her four siblings) tried to understand the whole thing but it eventually ran it's course and ended.  She never divorced the f*&k stick for whatever reason...

Moral of this story....IT'S NON OF YOUR BUSINESS!

oh trust me i am staying out of it.   i told him to dump her ass and washed my hands of it.   i just thought it was amazing that some one would put up with it.

No argument there, Kid...

My sis has been dead nearly four years and her so-called ex-husband is still taking advantage of her!  She was on SSI disability near the end and he's now getting her checks...  All legal and all but it's hard to explain..
