This is not 100% "non-gun," because I did have my 1911 IWB for ballast ...
For those that have seen the movie
Wild Hogs you may think you have seen every hassle an old fart could encounter on a bike ride.
WRONG!!! They totally missed the 35 mph cross wind scene!
The good thing is that I put no wear on the tread face of the tires, and about 120 miles on the sidewalls

How far do you need to lean into a 35 mph cross wind ? Can't give you an exact angle, but it is a quarter tank on the gas gauge

When you turn with the wind braking becomes a real issue, and the guys on Harleys were able to put them in 6th at 55 and still have lots of power (6th isn't normally used until 70 or 75). And, when going into the wind you don't roll off the throttle until you are darn near at the intersection, or you will find yourself stopping a quarter mile short of the stop sign

However, 1st bike night of 2009 in Searles, MN was a success
