FQ13 who'd settle for marrying for sex at this point.

You don't get married to have sex.  That's like buying a 747 to get free pretzels.

Got this today in an email....... I think its original because the author's email address was still in the 'from' box in the forward from my friend.
It was originally sent to Military Magazine, I think........

An open letter to President Barack Obama:

Dear President Obama,

I did not vote for you. However, since you are now our President I don't want you to drop the ball. Therefore, I have a few things to say. For years you have been hanging out with the wrong crowd. William Ayers, Bernardine Dohrn and Reverend Wright are not your friends. They have been filling your head with some bad ideas. I'm your friend! As your friend I am telling to to dump them and stop listening to them. Secondly, do a clean sweep and fire those incompetents you have appointed to key positions. Your predecessor Mr. Bush may not have been the brightest bulb in the box but he appointed competent people! Finally, you are not President of the Senior Class, you are President of the United States. 280 million people are depending on your leadership. The world is full of evil people who want to bring us down. Stop bowing and apologizing to the rest of the world. Stop making Jimmy Carter look like Teddy Roosevelt! You're our Commander-in Chief. You're a world leader. For God's sake man, start acting like one!

Sincerely Yours,

James E. Murphy

This is not 100% "non-gun," because I did have my 1911 IWB for ballast ...

For those that have seen the movie Wild Hogs you may think you have seen every hassle an old fart could encounter on a bike ride.  WRONG!!!  They totally missed the 35 mph cross wind scene!

The good thing is that I put no wear on the tread face of the tires, and about 120 miles on the sidewalls  :o  How far do you need to lean into a 35 mph cross wind ?  Can't give you an exact angle, but it is a quarter tank on the gas gauge  :o  When you turn with the wind braking becomes a real issue, and the guys on Harleys were able to put them in 6th at 55 and still have lots of power (6th isn't normally used until 70 or 75).  And, when going into the wind you don't roll off the throttle until you are darn near at the intersection, or you will find yourself stopping a quarter mile short of the stop sign ???

However, 1st bike night of 2009 in Searles, MN was a success  ;D

I've been on a ride like that. Completely warn out by the end of that day. There was a bad spot on the drive and it turned the ride to a little less than enjoyable day for some.

Riding with a strong constant crosswind for 50 miles or so with nothing but open fields around you, you tend to get used to leaning into it. Bad thing was, when everyone got closer to this small town, there were some trees at the city limits that were acting as windbreaks. For the guys that weren't paying attention to terrain, it meant coming to a fast and painful stop in the ditch. Now, I know this is wrong, but watching a few random guys just zip off the road was really quite fascinating and by that I mean, ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS! (No one was seriously hurt. Just bruised egos and damaged chrome mostly.) That little spot brought an end to the fun & enjoyment for the day, more or less. But more importantly it, it hammered home the fact that you can't stop paying attention or become accustom to your surroundings even for a split second or you are going to end up hurt.

Seems to apply to a lot of things in life.  ;)

Talk about a Love Bite

Lover's penis bite puts man in hospital
From correspondents in Bangkok, Thailand
A THAI woman bit her Belgian boyfriend's penis out of jealousy during sex, but doctors managed to save the nearly-severed organ, police and reports said on Friday.
The 56-year-old man was being treated in hospital for severe injuries after the incident early yesterday in the coastal resort of Pattaya, they said.

"We still don't know the identity of the suspect or whether he wants her to be prosecuted,'' police Lieutenant Colonel Norwich Chulavanich said.

The victim's penis was "severely bitten'' but not severed from his body, he said.

Local media reported that the pair quarrelled after she learned the Belgian man was having an affair with another Thai woman.

Pattaya Memorial hospital said the victim did not want to talk to media and would not give details about the case.
Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them
