Gold and engraving are for FANCY RIFLES

Daaaaaaaamn! I thought that this was an ugly gun thread. There are very few things prettier than a fine shotgun. I personally prefer an O/U but I'd be happy to find a place for that classic side by side if you want to send it my way. Engraving does belong on a fine shotgun.

And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them

I'm glad that these fellas have a Kitty gun. It's the only "Kitty" that they will ever get near!!! ;D

From the way they are standing and the looks on their faces, maybe they don't care about kitty? Given the rifle, maybe they are the founding members of the "Pink Rifles".

Some engraved pistols look good. I like mine.

Wow! That engraved Steyr may really be the winner. I hate gold on guns anyway, then to add the engraving. It looks like the artist knew what he was doing …but on a plastic gun?!

When I was young and dumb, I thought about having snake scales engraved on my Colt Anaconda. So I made it to older and still kinda dumb, but I'm glad I didn't get any engraving done on it.

Did you happen to mention your scales idea to somebody at Kimber? They make a 1911 with scales... I blame you.

How bout something timeless and classy! Burberry SKS, perhaps?

I've been out of touch for a few weeks.  This is awesome.  If anyone wins the lotto and wants the perfect gift for me, this would be it.
