One gun a month is a worthy goal !

Trust me... being a 3 safe household is enough... I don't need that 4th safe.

Not to many lately.  Maybe 1 or two a year, but none so far this year.  Probably need to stock up on those evil high capacity magazines and evil black rifles.  Money got really tight with two kids in college, and three cars to keep up with gas prices that have doubled.

I know..... Gas prices are disenfranchising me from buying more guns..... I need to write Senator Obama over that one....... and Maybe the ACLU too.  ;D

I usually buy one each year for my birthday, so I at least get one thing I want. But I voted less than once a year because some years I don't get one. Then I just buy accessories and ammo. I think I'm going to trade some in for a couple new ones instead of buying new ones outright.

Um, OK, I went over the kids in the safe, counted noses, and remined myself what I had done. The count is actually - if you count just the last 12 months - 7, not 4.

In addition to the other I mentioned, I picked up a rifle last fall, and a neat old JC Higgins shotgun at a garage sale last August. Then there is another rifle I traded a pistol for last fall - does that count?

On the other hand if you average out the last 9 years since I started buying, it's about 2 per year on average.

Guns get like Lay's potato chips, especially with the possibility of The Anointed One being elected, I'm getting all that I can.

As often as I can but probably 2 or less a year is normal. However, having just received my CCW in June my wife was kind enough to open the checkbook and allow 3 additions to the collection: 6" S&W 686-3, Colt Lightweight Commander MK4 Series 80, and a Ruger Mk1 Target (1958 6.875"bbl). Of course I assured her this would be enough and I wouldn't want anymore...  I don't she believed me  ::)

Usually 2 or 3 a year. I'm single, so I don't have a wife to answer to for mine. ;D This year, I've only bought 1 so far this year. I'm hoping to be able to afford at least 2 more that I want before the end of the year. A J-frame .357, and a Kahr PM45. I'd like to at least be able to get those this year. And maybe a 6.8 Upper for my AR15. If I could afford it, I'd be buying up semi autos left and right right now.
