After have weaved all over the place, I've decide, in my advance super senior age bracket, that I need to simplify and limit my collection.
In bolt action I have a Mosin-Nagant, a 7mm mauser and a 7mm Ruger and a Tikka in .338 Fed. I've decided to sell all of them and get one good .308.
I'm not sold on the "Scout" concept. More of a "conventional" design (scope over action) person myself. Ah-ha. Tikka has announced a CTR short bolt action tactical style rifle.

As much as I encourage everyone to go with guns that have commonly available magazines, I'll eat my words here.
I really love the feel of my .338 Tikka Lite. Excellent trigger. Sturdy and well made. I'm thinking this is my .308. For those who want a convention scope mount in a tactical style .308, this may be the ticket. (I KNOW I KNOW. I'm living on the edge. A newly introduce rifle. Limited availability.)
Now all I got to do is sell all the others.
