The Inmates are running the Asylum....
« on: February 18, 2015, 01:14:04 PM »
State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf, after coming under fire for suggesting a way to fight the Islamic State and all terrorism is by creating jobs, has an answer for her critics: Her argument is just "too nuanced" for them to understand.

Dear Ms. Harf,
Here are some plausible ideas.  How about creating 40,000 new jobs by building a pipeline, anywhere.  How about hiring ISIL to protect our porous southern border.  How about giving them low interest small business loans so they could go into business for themselves.

My idea:  Ship all the Playstations and X Boxes and monitors we can find and in addition to free cell phones and tablets, distribute these to the so called "hopeless of the Middle East".  Their minds will become so numbed that they won't even consider strapping on a suicide vest or learning how to decapitate or crucify those who have a different religion.  Just my opinion, I could be wrong.  Let's see some more ideas.

P.S. Don't you think Ms. Harf and Ms.Paski are the snarkiest spokespersons you've ever seen?

They haven't even considered a "Night Basketball" program.  Courts are simple and inexpensive, can be put almost everywhere, and it might turn them around.

If it saves just one life, it's worth it.

Yes!  We have a person who has some community activism experience who could set up a basketball program and maybe a golf instruction class.

It's amazing how many people forgot about 9/11 and can ignore so much that is going on.  The only reason why these people have the luxury of thinking this way is that for now, the evil is happening to someone else but not to them.  That won't last forever.

Posted this as a response on another site.

Condemning Islamic Terrorists will not help, nor will disavowing them. Fighting them and killing them will help some. Exterminating them every time they rise again is the only solution until (and if) Islam makes the changes necessary to become a religion acceptable to a free society and eliminates their breeding ground.

Marie Harf is an elitist twat!

We didn't allow anything!  We were given the State Department twat without consideration...

Didn't allow anything ?
Obama is in the middle of his 2nd term, and the crooked Dem machine that put him there is unchallenged.
The cowardly American public has been allowing that for 80 years. They had been taught their place in 1865.

Most folks today would miss this........ the point when the Federal gubmint became "over" the people instead of "for and by" the people. Once Washington realized it could exert it's will on such a grand scale, they began gradually using less lube.
"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

It's actually pretty easy to prove that Abe Lincoln was just as big a POS as Obama.
