Alf,
I use CCI Standard Velocity in my Ruger Mark III bullseye gun. They run almost flawless*.
*
1. I need to remember to clean the gun midway through league (after about 300 rounds), because the .22lr exterior lube builds up on the bolt. When the lube builds up it isn't a lube. It is a sticky coating.
2. A couple times a year I will get a failure to feed or go into battery. This is independent of the lube build up. I think it is a magazine issue (happens with two of 12 magazines), but I have not confirmed this.
Standard Velocity does not run well in my Kimber 1911 .22lr. I believe it is the lack of power to run the slide. I have never had an issue with full power .22lr, but SV is very unreliable in this gun. I have never tried them in my 10/22, because that gun will shoot el cheapo ammo great.
