Hmm...track record for Sarah Palin? Well let's take a look at the track record of the Marxists running againist her and McCain. Nah, it ain't worth the effort. The choice here is so stark that most folks are going to be able to "get it" real quick. If you want left wing drivel than vote for the Marxist liars. If not vote for McCain and Palin. That's it in a nutshell.

Just a note that on Fox this morning Susan Estridge, who is pretty far left herself, said that she believes up to 30 percent of the Clinton vote will move over to McCain. I don't believe such a polarizing left wing ticket like Bho and Crazy Joe will get traction across America. It didn't for numerous other Democrats like Kerry, Gore, Dukakis, Mondale etc. Although I can't predict how the election will go, I wouldn't be surprised to see a substantial win in McCain's favor.

The AIP refernce came from a NPR or CPR( same thing only one is state and the other in national I really don't remember as at that time was one top of a 12 ladder cutting in some crown. )  Not 100% reliable, but in this case they were talking about her running for some small town city councel, on some sales tax deal platform that was unliked... blah blah blah... 1992, blah, blah, blah... So i'm pretty sure its solid.

NPR and the Daily Kos were the only two sources that I know of that put out the AIP piece.  Given their left tilt ... you may not hear the full story to any conservative candidate/issue. Come to think about it...  if BHO wins, I may move to a state that wants to succeed from the Union as well!

With that being said ... and kinda echoing what 1776 and others have said ... if someone is leaning to the left, they are not likely to listen to what Palin's credentials are.  If they are tilting to the left, they will likely ignore the Marxist BS that Bro'O spews all the while tossing slander bombs at Palin and/or McCain.  Not "usually" going to win over these folks with the facts.  They are too emotionally tied to issues (RKBA, abortion, placating terrorist) to be objective.  To counter and say folks that lean to the right are the same could be true but I would take exception.  To that, if anyone wishes to debate with me on the differences of McCain's vs. Obama's economic/fiscal policy, their position on RKBA, how they have voted and viewed the war with radical Islam or what they have said/done regarding "woman's rights" ... bring me some fresh meat.  For kicks and giggles, we can throw Palin, Biden, Marx and Reagan in the mix too.

I digress.  The proverbially bottom line ... if you are for a woman's right to murder a baby, against our RKBA, want higher taxes, income redistribution and feel that we should placate terrorist because they are really just religious freedom fighters ... than Barack Hussein Obama and Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. and the Democratic controlled Congress with Pelosi and Reid are your team.  Just ask Jimmy Carter or Hamas.

Keep tuned to a variety of sources and you may hear something you like about Palin.

Thats just it, I don't care about just one issue.  Frankly I would rather have some one that would ban all guns, and fix every thing else, then some one that would give every one a machinegun and fook every thing else up.

Being part of the AIP, means nothing to me, its a political party in alaska, one that until a few days ago I had never heard of, Much like Mrs palin.  Now yes I have done some research on AIP, granted its not been much and its all been at the AIP web site.  I find them to be unamerican, but I find most political partys to be unamerican.  Now AIP is a little bit more unamerican then most( going off thier web site) According to them, she does have strong ties with that party.  Until I get other sides of that and the partys, it means nothing to me.  Just as the Democratic party, can say Obama is the smartest man in the country, I'll beleave that when I can talk to the man.  until then, its just some ones IMO.

I really don't care what party they are in, I don't see R or D on the ballot, I see a person.  hell if the right person was in the nazi party, I would vote for them. Granted the chances of that happening are around zero.

hell I can count on one hand the number of times I've even had the chance to vote for a "good man"( or women) for any office.

PS its not just issues, but how they would address said issues.

if you can't tell I'm trying to do about 10 things at once...

A president is never really in a role to fix everything. They are in a role to sign the laws that Congress puts on their desk. A good example of this is the boosts to the economy that Clinton get the credit for too often. The Republican Congress passed the laws that provided those changes and Bill was blessed to have been able to sign them. Perhaps that's why we have a legislature with a lower approval rating than our President right now.

Tab - you're right about just voting for a party, but you get an idea of someone's character right away based on which party someone chooses to align themselves with. Parties have issues that they've taken a stand on - party line. Some will buck their party's line. If anyone ever were to align themselves with the Nazis, we know enough about their character to make a judgment of them already.

Gun issues are always the tell on how the government feels about pushing you around.

Fear the government that fears your guns.

Thats great in theory, but I think what you are really telling everyone is that you do not realize how insane the Democratic party has become.

not every democrat is all the way left, most in fact are a moderate that only slightly leans left.   Just like most Rebs are a moderate that slighly leans right.
