The good news...1) She is known as a conservative2) She is an outsider3) She is a woman4) She is young5) She is attractive6) She is a non-nonsense, family values, self described "soccer mom"Yes, some of those points are politically incorrect to say but...unfortunately, many people make their choices on less...if not, how could Obama be so popular? Here's the bad news...1) She is unknown by most of the US (Alaska might as well be Siberia for most people)2) She has a short resumeOn one hand you could say she will bring a solid conservative bent (trying to appeal to the base...something Romney wouldn't have done), she's not of the "old guard", and she may attract some Hillary supporters. One the other, no one knows her and it potentially hurts the argument against Obama's lack of experience. It is a really nice counter point to Obama's pick of a crazy radical, inside the beltway wacko like Biden. All, in all, I'm positive on the pick. I wonder how she'll do in a debate with Biden...he can be nasty.
UPDATE: Democrats release Sarah Palin's social security numberApparently Palin’s Social Security number is no longer private, posts Erickson of RedState. Democrats release 60 pages of talking points and personal data on Palin.http://www.redstate.com/diaries/redstate/2008/sep/02/breaking-democrats-release-sarah-palins-soc/
um, its public info... what diffrence does it make who released it? also your link does not work.
Actually, Governor Palin has more executivee experience than the TOP man on the democratic ticket. And, according to those who know her, Governor Palin may well chew Biden up and spit him out in a debate. Personally, I'm now reallyexcited about a ticket for the first time since 1984.
